Granted, it does indeed look a little like a pineapple, but only from a distance, and I don't think it detracts from the watch if it's a good looking watch otherwise.

Thank you, this is a Seiko SNXS77, a automatic.

FYI, all Seiko 5s are automatics.

now i feel like an idiot. I should of clicked on the pictures and read the word "automatic" on the dial.

I have studied this picture for damn near an hour, and I have yet to be able to ascertain the time. However, I am closing in on solving Pi.

No kidding. With that many numbers, there's no way that thing doesn't double as a circular slide rule.

Lol... What an ugly watch. WAY too much going on. Thing is hideous!

I actually kind of like it. Just a huge amount of detail, but not in an unattractive way. Very baroque. Impossible to use to its fullest extent without memorizing 300 pages of documentation I'm sure, but I wouldn't say it's ugly.

A very attractive copy of a Brietling Bentley. The numbers are very useful, if you have the use. Not really a dress watch though.

Thanks for the input.

I enjoy it so I guess that's all that matters.
True. Sorry to have come off as rude. Everyone has different tastes, and that's part of the beauty of human nature. :satisfied: You know, I still would never ever buy that watch, but the more I look at it, the more I appreciate the intricacies of the design.
