Lord Elgin US Steel presentation watch I found at the thrift last night for $25. Manual wind, stainless steel. Threw away the cheap metal band and added this RAF strap.

Great watch. I have the orange monster. Wasn't sure I could rock the orange dial, but it quickly became my favorite watch.

Be sure to post up some pictures when you get it back. I always enjoy seeing his mods, maybe a bit more so because I'm pretty sure he lives just a mile or two from me.

SKX007 'Seamaster' mod is on its way back to me. Here's a pic I received from MCWW:

Excuse my ignorance, but who is MCWW?

Two packages came in for me the past few days. First is an Invicta 8926 Sub, which I modded with a green bezel. I'm in love with the LV look.

I also purchased a 22mm Stowa strap for my Tisell Flieger. Awesome pairing in my opinion.

What about this bronze watch?

It seems to be the only decent kickstarter watch. I dial looks plastic like, but the creator is trying to fix that. Most bronze watches with cusn8 seem to start at 800.
