Poor man's watch thread - Page 187

Hey, I am looking at the Panatime soft leather NATO's for my MM that is in transit- I have no experience with these, are they comfortable? What is the draw for a NATO vs a traditional strap, besides ease for changing up the look? Or is that pretty much it?

This one is on sale for $15, nice... I HATE paying full retail for things!  lol

Bought this, and love it- now I have to figure out what to spend the $19,835 I saved on...   smile.gif

Same here, except went with the Arabic instead of Roman numbers on the PRC 200. Hey it was even cheaper....

With some of that money saved I plan on picking up a Natural Shell watch band. Well OK so I bought the watch as excuse to buy the watch band:

I'm looking to buy a Orient Millenium with the silver band.  Does anyone know what site I could buy one at for relatively cheap?  Or point me to any used ones in good condition?  I've been trying to search for them but haven't had any luck.

Could you post a link to it?  Couldn't find one on there.  Was also looking to get it cheaper as I'm on a budget....

Speaking of shell- DaLuca Shell Cordovan #8 NATO strap anyone? Only $175...  pretty though...

That's pretty funny seeing that I would be putting it on a $100 watch... lol

Does anyone have more leather NATO strap pics? I am considering this option for the MM watch, for $45 I can get three different colors leather- I'm just worried if they look too bulky...

I strongly recommend the kangaroo tail straps from nato strap.com. Unfortunately they were only available in black last I checked.

Omega is NOT a poor man's watch!

I have the Planet Ocean with the black face and dial as I prefer the look and feel of the watch, the hands I think are too "sporty" on the Seamaster and the strap is a little too flexible, I think overall the Ocean is a little heavier and more substantial, personal choice only but Omega do make great watches for the money!!!!
