Poor man's watch thread - Page 136

My wife bought me this watch, and I wanted to swap out the band, so I bought some NATO straps. The problem is that the pin is so close to the watch, that I can't squeeze it through. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it to fit? Can I get different pins maybe?

Put a leather strap on that thing and totally change the vibe.
Cloth straps are good for $10 watches.

And a lot of other watches as well. Most of my Seiko are on nylon, which lasts longer and is stronger than leather. Not knocking leather's uses however.

My 5 year old Tissot on a snuff-ish suede nato strap (bought off a guy on styleforum/reddit who makes them). sorry for the shitty pic.

I have heard that Skagen watches don't really work with other bands. If you want the look of a NATO without the bulk, try a RAF strap instead.
