If you get a quartz it will actually be more accurate than the mechanical from Omega.
I don't buy in to the the high prices charged by the Swatch Group for average products.
Reeks of "High end" fashion brands like Prada, Dior, D & G, etc.

That is awful. I hate fakes.

Yes, that is close enough.
You can just swap out a metal band for a leather one?

I have no problems with a replica, b/c expensive watches are a ripoff.
However, the watch you posted looks nothing like the watch I posted. It's an ugly fashion watch

Where can I buy a strap that looks like this?
I like the Croc pattern, the reddish/brown color, and the exposed stitching.
Please post links. Cheaper the better.

Looking for a new watch and this has pretty much everything I want - clean face, light colored frame, white background, Roman numeral-esque display for the digits, dark brown band...

...that cheesy font for the brand name is my only complaint. Messes up the whole vibe of the watch, imo. But everything else stylistically basically fits what I'd want - anyone have suggestions for something similar?

None that I know of. Leather made to look like Croc doesn't look like that. You would have to buy one that's a solid reddish brown and they can be found on TZ.

The hands and dial are very similar to a Hamilton Jazzmaster (Viewmatic). You can buy mine if you like, although it has some numbers and is silver. I am looking to sell it soon.

Finally got myself a Parnis power reserve after contemplating for a few months. Gonna wear it tomorrow. So stoked! Here's some pictures of it. Not as big as I thought it would be. Expected it to be bigger on my wrist but it's fine. Hopefully I'll take more.

I'm thinking of getting one more. But haven't set my eyes yet. First impression is that the watch is very thick and the stock strap is hideous. Might be looking at some leather nato strap to go with it.

Here are a few pics of my Bulova. I looked for a long time trying to find something that was rose gold colored to match my wedding band. While the watch has a quartz movement, I still wouldn't have gotten anything else in that price range. I get compliments all the time on it.

Very, very nice watch you have there! An unusual case and I like it a lot. The rose gold works well with the strap and two-toned face too.

Well done!

Does anyone know of a cheap knockoff of this style?
I really like the deep blue face

the almost cherry red leather band
the lack of excessive numbers on the dial and chronographs

+1 It's a fantastic looking watch.

Is this band any good?  http://www.amazon.com/JBW-Just-Bling-JB-24mmSILV_DBRN-Crocodile-Butterfly/dp/B004GTL7F8/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Nope. No-name brand. Calf-skin leather with a fake alligator grain/pattern applied to it.

So how much was that omega seamaster?

I can't believe you posted this. You honestly think a replica is a good idea? Give your head a shake. There is no better way to wreck your reputation than to be caught wearing a fake watch. I'd rather wear a $10 drug store brand watch than to be seen wearing a fake Omega.

+1. Or at least get an homage. Frinstnace: I would love to be able to afford a Rolex Daytona "Paul Newman" but could never afford one. There are fake Rolexes to be had, but I would rather get one like this Alpha with a similar style. Yeah, it is a little like getting a Fiero instead of a Ferrari, but at least it is honest.

In my interwebz travels today, I ran across these nice looking Braun x Dieter Rams timepieces on Mr. Porter.

Looks like MoMA also carries some Braun watches for <$200:
