Just to be obnoxious and bump this thread here's a pic of my new Seiko.

That actually looks like RGP (rolled gold plate). You should be able to pop the back cover off carefully (nothing metal) and see the stamp on the back. That one is a Swiss model, make sure that you take it to your watchmaker often to get oiled and cleaned, that era Bulova movement seems to get fouled often.
