Just got back from a bar in Buffalo, where I was with old St. Louis friends watching the Cards comeback win. Great night!

just watched the highlights of the Nats/Cards game. That was an epic ******* choke job. the Cards have some sort of magic. i would not want to be the Giants.

I was at a bar that had the game on. My girl is from the DC/NoVA area and thought they had it in the bag when it was 6-0...then the Cards kept creeping up and had that explosion in the 9th. She was pretty shattered.

I felt bad for my O's for about 45 seconds, then realized that the Yankees got taken to the brink by a team that was supposed to finish in 5th place this year who didn't have one of their star players due to CC breaking his wrist towards the end of the season. My bigger take away is that the post season is once again boring as ****!!!! The Yankees, Cardinals and Giants are boring, just boring to watch. I hope the Tigers win it all.

Also, this is it for the Yankees, if they don't win it this year they won't be going back for a while.

oh, the yankees are fucked for the future. for sure. this is going to be the last playoffs for a while. the O's are here to stay. i'm actually happy about this because the team needs a MAJOR re-tooling. hopefully this will be the things that sets it in motion.

i don't know if i have ever experienced such a up and down in a game. i can't imagine being a fan. up 6-0 after 3 with your ace on the hill. the nationals probably had a 95%+ chance to win that game after 5 innings and blew it.

just insane.

given that both teams can't score more than 3 runs a game.....very likely.

That is very surprising, especially the Cardinals.
