All Star Game: Total embarrassment for the AL

It wasn't JV's night. I can forgive that. What I cannot forget are his whiny comments afterwards: It...The 100 mph pitches...is what the fans wanted to see.

Just as pathetic was Fielders terrible play at 1st base.

The final nail on the coffin was Joe Buck's mind numbing drone.

Move on. Play ball. Second half.

13 innings. And a loss in Baltimore. This game was ours until Papa Grande blew it. Quintin Berry continues to make a name for himself. What a gift he has been to this team. The beauty of baseball is that there is always a chance to win. Time is not a factor.

Haven't been following the sox, what kind of boneheaded moves has he been making?

its mostly pitching changes.

he just makes too many pitching changes that opposing managers so easily make adjustments for... they all seem to go bad and end up in blown leads.

Remember the good ole days when Valverde was good?

I was up in Port Huron on Saturday to see the start of the Port Huron to Mackinac Yacht Race and when we left the in-laws house, the game was in the bottom of the 8th inning with the Tigers losing by three. We got all the way home to Birmingham in time to still watch almost four innings of baseball... yet Valverde still blew it.

White Sox coming to town for the weekend as well. Friday should be a nice pitching showdown with Verlander and Sale going. I'm impressed that there are only 3 clubs under .500 in the AL. The NL has eight.
