Was funny watching the Os celebrate that walkoff like it put them in the playoffs. Probably enjoyable to shut up all the Sox fans at Camden Yards. On the highlights, Scott van Pelt did his "O's, Stroh's, and Natty Bohs, hon" thing--never figured out why you needed two beers in that chestnut. Prefer "Ain't the beer cold!"
There was no better celebration than that of the 2003 Detriot Tigers when they narrowly avoided losing 120 games with a walk off by (I believe it was the now lost) Nook Logan. The O's knew what they were playing for, not only to keep Boston out of the playoffs, but to get revenge for being disrespected earlier in the season. There was an incident between Kevin Gregg and David Ortiz where Gregg tried to pitch inside and Ortiz decided to complain and threatend to charge the mound. Well, Kevin Gregg hasn't done much right in Baltimore this year, but he defended the O's honor that night.
