Made the mistake of clicking on an SI.com video thing of Dave Winfield opining on why Rose should be considered the all-time "Hit King" and not Ichiro.

The insightful answer he stumbled through was that we should consider Rose the all-time hits leader because only professional baseball should count.

Going to the dodger game today. Hope it's not 90 degrees still at game time

Scary stuff. I was on the phone in my office (Century City) talking to my father in law about how hot it's been here. I glanced out my window toward the San Gabriels and saw the plume, it looked like a volcano exploding.

That was actually just me in my condo, which has no AC.

BTW- where did the Dodgers go? Watching Kershaw get shelled was rare, and ugly. Cost me a couple of weeks in Fantasy.

Here's to Dodger Blue missing the playoffs (even though I think they'll make a run at some point).

Could be worse. I have Kershaw and Cueto.

Pomeranz getting fucking destroyed after a decent start, does not look like an ace at all.

Seriously? Fuck these clowns.

Talking big is easy, I know - but were this to happen I finally walk the hell away as a (former) fan.

Also, MLB needs to avoid letting pictures of Manfred get out. He's uglier and goofier looking than the illegitimate love child of Yogi Berra and Joe Torre.

Why restrict reliever innings? Why not the number of times you can change pitchers per inning. Or make them pitch to at least 3 people.

They keep trying to figure out why games are getting longer not realizing it's the goddamn commercials.
