Nothing.

False. If Aaron Hicks needs to miss time they will probably call Swish up and the world will rejoice.

That has nothing to do with 26 at bats and more with your love of nick swisher though

Unless you think he can start hitting above the Mendoza line in the MLB, which history has shown.... Is not guaranteed

I know ed likes to talk about how bad the Braves are, but the Twins are a special kind of awful.  They give up a 2 out walk in the 15th, so the Nationals pinch hit with a pitcher.  The Twins give up the stolen base - the pitcher didn't even look at the runner, and a good throw still might have got him.  Then the pitcher BUNTS, and the catcher airmails the ball down the line allowing the runner to score.

The Twins had so much potential a few years ago. And then the inevitable injuries happened.

Holy shit. frown.gif

The racism and abuse Hall of Famer Hank Aaron endured while chasing the home run record of Babe Ruth was so traumatic he almost regrets the accomplishment many consider one of the greatest feats in sports history.

“I didn’t have too much fun,” the former Atlanta Braves slugger said. “It was the saddest 2 1/2 years I ever had in baseball. Knowing what I know now, I don’t know that I would do it again.”

Roger Marris (not the racism obviously) had crazy stuff happen to him too - people didn't want him to break the babe's record. His hair started falling out from all the stress, etc.

What an outing by Kershaw today! No doubt the best pitcher in MLB. And a Dodger confused.gif

The Yankees are absolutely terrible and I'm low key happy I can't watch the games.

Kershaw and MadBum are so good for the rivalry, a modern-day Koufax-Marichal. (Hopefully Bumgarner won't club anyone over the head with a bat, although he does have a temper.)

Reminds me of John Tudor before his arm fell off.

Let's see what he does over the entire season. Historically Japanese pitchers start quickly, then fade a bit as the season weighs on because Japan's season is shorter, and the rest of the league begins to figure them out.

The Giants front 3 have been doing well, but Peavy and Cain are horrible.

So we're in a virtual tie in what has suddenly become a very competitive division.

Glad I bought high on Arenado for Fantasy. Missed on Storey though.
