2016 MLB Season Thread - Page 304

This is a classic example of why the East Coast is so much better than the left.

LA: c'mon guys don't boo be nice c'mon guys they tried their best.

NYC: Fuck these mother fuckers goddamn 200 million dollar payroll and these jagoffs get 3 hits.

I didn't say the owners owned the players. Re-read.

Do you really think most of the owners money comes from ticket sales?I mean, if your point is that they pay 1% of the players salaries, sure.

'Fans have booed in the past' - you're absolutely right, there are dicks everywhere. Your argument is pretty bad though- because we've done something in the past, we should continue to do it.

I'm not anti booing, I'm saying it was dumb/dickish to boo your own team.

Try again?

I didn't say "most." Re-read.

Of course your own team gets booed. This isn't nirvana. Your team doesn't perform...people boo. Simple.
If you want to cheer or stay silent. Nothing wrong with that. But fans boo.

Cut work early for a nosebleed view of Price delivering a lacklustre performance for gehm uno. Let's hope we pick it up a bit.

Price's post season performance has been lacking. 0-6 now on 3 different teams iirc. Not a good start for the Jays with those injuries...

Hey, I understand the feeling when a team lets me down but I honestly just say "well that was lame, we have next year and hope we can make the right moves in the off-season". I try to only let sports affect me positively and don't get so emotionally invested that I'm crushed or even butthurt when my team loses or stinks. When I see grown men act like children or cavemen with regards to sports I think more poorly of them than I do of players/teams who happened to suck that game or season.

That said, I'm not holding out hope for next season. I think Tanaka needs to get that surgery done ASAP and hope we can land some solid starting pitching either with guys coming back healthy and/or new blood. I'll be interested in how things shakeout at spring training.

Nice job jinxing them. You know they would have won if you'd just gone to the gym as usual, right?
