If Lincecum got 35m to sit on bench for 2 years, there should be enough for Panda.

Given Sandovals injury history and weight issues itd be hard for the Giants to consider giving him a contract 5+years likd he wants. Yasmany Tomas is the next big Cuban free agent to come out and he's young, 23, OF and a pure power hitter. The Giants have been very aggressive when Jose Abreu was available and they also put in a bid supposedly over 50+mil to Castillo last year who ended up in with the Red Sox.

Power hitters don't come cheap he's supposedly could get a long term type contract of 6-7 years 100+ with a much higher ceiling than Abreu which is saying a lot. Imagine having our lineup and adding a guy that could hit any ball out of the park I don't really think we've truly had a player like that besides Beltran since Bonds.

I don't think the Giants are going to go into a bidding war if Sandoval says he wants to test free agency. The Giants really need to think long term in terms of how they'll move forward with the organization. They have a great pull pen but they have to older starting pitchers in Peavy and Hudson. Bumgarner and Cain are really only starting pitchers they'll want to keep besides they're lineup Posey, Pence, Pagan and Panik. If they could potentially get a young "superstar" power hitter type of prospect I wouldn't fault them for not even giving Sandoval any money even for what he's done in the postseason for them.

They've given enough money into paying they're players for what they've done in the postseason and I think they've learned from that mistake.

I'd love to see Bumgarner come out of the pen tonight.

Any team that has Joyce Didonato and the Kansas City Symphony perform the National Anthem deserves to win. Go, Royals!

World Series Games stated by Madison Bumgarner: Giants are 2-0, outscored Royals 12-1.
World Series Games started by anyone other than Madison Bumgarner: Giants are 1-3, outscored by Royals 24-15.

Advantage, Royals.

Giants bullpen management tonight will be interesting. No way Hudson doesn't buckle under the pressure, I'd give him 3 innings max if he starts.

Barry Zito didn't, and he's half the pitcher Hudson is. And Lincecum (who is either great or awful) waits in the wings as well. You're all just a bunch of haters.

This is looking like it will be a very good game 7!

But I saw a stat that Hudson has not won a playoff game since 2001.

He is getting pulled in the 2nd. Joke.
