Were you seriously asking if he is bisexual or commenting on my man-crush on him?

Yes, the Tigers have acquired themselves a chance at losing by a little bit less to the A's.

You're probably right. I hope it's the ALCS. Would be fun to watch.

Here are some more Brett Gardner facts to start everybody's day:

Brett Gardner has hit 5 homers in 6 games.

Brett Gardner has a higher slugging percentage than Albert Pujols.

The only player with more homers since July than Brett Gardner is Chris Carter.

Brett Gardner now has more homers than Robinson Canó, Yasiel Puig, Jayson Werth, Justin Morneau, Buster Posey, and Evan Longoria.

Raw power. It's just raw power.

He is also batting .284...above his CAREER average of .270. Struck out 99 times in 107 games. Also his career playoff BA is .215.

And...?

i think Gardener might have the Jacoby Ellsbury disease of "play near MVP caliber during meaningless non playoff season". Jacoby is having his typical ""play near MVP caliber during meaningless non playoff season" as well.

Same thing I thought when I read your post.

And? He has "led" the Yankees to a 3rd place as of today.

I've been disappointed in how they are using Ellsbury. I feel like Girardi isn't letting him run as much as he should. Watching Ellsbury on the Sox for so many years, every time he got on base I thought he was going to run but not so much this year.
