well this was a fun weekend to watch the tigers hammer the royals. JV looked on point until the 6th. 2 of his ERs were BS. Hunter was playing so shallow that it should've been caught.

Tuesday morning: Detroit Tigers .667

This won't last. But, it's fun to have a winning streak.

I can't believe that Tino Martinez and Paul O'Neill are getting plaques. I love both of them but c'mon.

In any case...

Yankees lineup the way it should be tonight!

Ells, Gardy, Beltran, Tex, McCann, Solarte, Roberts, Ryan.

I would like to see McCann switched with Roberts though.

Oakland kicking ass, taking names, and being ignored by the media, like they do.

José Fernández to undergo MRI on elbow. This is all a conspiracy by Bud to make more runs. Tanaka is probably next.

Speaking of which, I think the main cause of all of these injuries are breaking pitches. Look at Mariano and Bartolo Colon. They both only throw fastballs and haven't had problems. When you start snapping your wrist in odd directions for the breaking pitches you probably put micro-tears in your UCL.

Where is Dr. Larry to confirm?!

Bartolo is fine because he has all these extra...fibers in his elbow

Some excellent young pitching...

But the Giants are still better...

Reporters and fans will need to bring a dictionary to Ausmus's postgame press conferences: Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said he wasn’t sure if Norris intentionally hit Hunter or not. “It looks odd after a home run, coach goes out and all of a sudden the guy gets drilled,” Ausmus said. “That being said, I’m not saying he hit him on purpose. It didn’t look copasetic.”

Copasetic??????? Where did he come up with that word!

A nice Tiger victory at Baltimore. Porcello's record is 6-1. Ian Kinsler is....as the commercial says....priceless.
