I'm watching Kershaw against Padres.

He's amazing and beautiful to watch.

He is fun. And from everything I've seen and heard, a decent, likable as well.

Of course, it's also easier to find an athlete likable when he's totally bringing it for your hometown team.

Kershaw embarrassed himself with his performance last night gave up a run!

Who do you think told Kruk to wear a jacket with white pick stitching and double lapel buttonholes?

Sorry, my bad. I was just trolling him; I never imagined he'd take me seriously.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to shop for his fat ass?

pretty entertaining game. unofficially, that was Cabrera's first home run in almost 3 weeks.

cabrera almost did the "manny ramirez" hit a HR off a semi check-swing last night. The ball went like 330ft into right field foul territory though, opposite field check swing power...dayum.

Goddamnit Joe Buck is the worst: http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/dish/201407/derek-jeter-joe-buck-fox-mlb-all-star-game-new-york-yankees-robinson-cano-trout

Also, the Pitch F/X from Waino's pitch to Jeter in the 1st.

All signs point to a grooved pitch (that also wasn't a cutter).

Maybe my memory is just influenced by nostalgia on this point, but it seems like the kind of thing Waino did used to just go without saying. You didn't ask the pitcher if he laid one up and you didn't look at all the metrics to discover the truth.

Of course everything is different now that the All-Star Game "counts," but that is a whole other issue. I wish they'd stop doing it that way.
