Speaking of, your buddy A-Rod's been cleared for rehab.

Our bridge and tunnel friend should probably spend less time fretting over the legitimacy of Crush Davis' season and focusing instead on the legitimacy (or lack thereof) of the Yanks lineup. Who'd have thought they'd be gagging to have A-Fraud back?

congrats on Andy Pettite with the most K's in Yankee history.

Davis maybe raking and you may be suspecting... but thats nothing compared to actually testifying under oath to that you took HGH.

pettitte is a nice guy though so its easy to forget and forgive. hopefully cooperstown voters won't.

pettite sure is pitching greeeaaat for a 41year old starting pitcher. maybe he's found new workout regimen?

Have you been watching him lately, Doc? I wouldn't say he's pitching very well at all. His velocity is up a bit on last year but that can be attributed to taking a year off.

well there isn't that many other 41y/o starting pitchers this year to compare him to. This year alone he's heading for well over 150 innings. .

if you want to use comparisons you can think of it in two ways... there were old school pitchers like Nolan Ryan, and then there are a lot of 40year old pitchers who pitched that many innings and had career years like Roger Clemens. He's been linked to using the same PED supplying trainers and training with Clemens in the past, hell he's testified under oath that he's taken HGH.

if he does pitch over 150 innings then we should all applaud Pettitte, but if anyone to consider pointing a finger at using PEDs its should be the guy with an actual history of PED use and pitching that amount of innings at 41years old. the trend is former PED users still playing seem to not be able to help themselves and are repeat offenders.

I have not heard anyone accuse Pettitte of any PED use since he has gotten back. Remember, he has been on the DL this season it's not like he's indestructible out there. This should not distract from Chris Davis's blatant cheating.

There are now 3 active pitchers with 2 no hitters: Justin Verlander, Mark Buehrle, and Homer Bailey. 2 of these things are not like the other?

Bailey's using PEDS. Same supplier as Chris Davis.

Max Scherzer got his baker's dozen: a 13 - 0 record. 6 with the brown eye and 7 with the green eye.

That Machado play was incredible. Easily the best 3rd baseman in the majors right now.

I love the "out" call by the ump with his little old school cap in the Robinson video. So awesome.
