Perfectly placed 95 mph fastballs in the 9th inning. How fucking tired do you think?

Final take from the post game show.
Sandoval doesn't miss many meals.

Someone changed it, but the caption on Bumgarners Wikipedia page was "God" a few minutes ago lol.

Nor does the dude from Chevy, who touted that their new line of trucks is packed with "technology, and stuff."

Embarrassing. Guy looked like a salesman dragged off the floor of a Chevy dealership five minutes beforehand and told to present a truck to Bumgarner. Did he rehearse at all?

He did have that little piece of paper he was struggling to read. I felt bad for him, as he was clearly not the right guy for that job. Definitely not a guy that lives in spotlight like some 6 foot silver haired CEO, but, as the VP of Sales and Marketing for Chevy, I bet he makes a truckload of money, so Im sure he'll be fine.

Good night folks.

Serves him right for having "Rikk" as a nickname. What the hell kind of name is that?? And in the car sales industry no less. He must have had to become the boss just to make the abuse stop

This is comical. Guy had a BEAST of a post season. Deserves the MVP. Gonna be a very good pitcher in years to come.
But lets not start acting like his post season is a reflection of his regular season. He is a solid regular season pitcher. Nowhere near "God." FEW pitchers are.

This is not what he was. He is the regional zone manager for Chevy....at least that is what EA said.
It does look like they scrambled to get him up there in a role that he isn;t used to.

Ah. Well, whatever he does, if he was in a position to be making the presentation of the World Series MVP on behalf of Chevy, Im sure he is making bank.

Bumgarner has that "country dumbness" about him to not let the magnitude of the situation affect his skills, thus making him very, very patient in cultivating all of those outs.

What an amazing performance by the Giants to push it through to become champions. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Easier said than done, but the Royals really should have worked the count against Bumgarner. Chased too many high fastballs out of the strike zone. Does anyone actually hit those pitches?
