Linc I finally found a pick of the cardinals fan from game 3!

I was so excited and giddy that it was possibly you that even though you disproved it so, I will still imagine it was you anyway!

the cardinals were overmatched in the world series, but damn with a few tweaks (extra base power hitters) they'll be top of the national league for years to come.

It is not often someone becomes giddy when thinking of me, so that is pretty neat. I say go ahead and keep thinking it was me. (Who knows, maybe I had too much port to where I forgot I dressed up that way.)

Well congrats to the Red Sox. So frustrating to see the Cards leave so many men on base throughout the series.

Agree - Cardinals will be in the hunt for the next few years.

Take care all.

BOSTON—Fifteen minutes after the Boston Red Sox defeated the St. Louis Cardinals to become World Series Champions, sources are now confirming that local man Bradley Ferrante, 26, is dedicating the trash can he’s lighting on fire to the victims of last April’s Boston Marathon bombings. “4/15, never forget!” said a visibly intoxicated Ferrante before throwing an entire book of lit matches into the trash bin, stumbling slightly before kicking it to the ground, removing his shirt, and screaming “Go Sox!” “Dynasty!” “Big Papi! We love you, Papi!” and “We’re the fuckin’ champs, baby! Boston Strong! Yankees suck! Woo!” At press time, Ferrante was hunched over on Boylston Street, vomiting roughly 800 yards from the marathon’s finish line.

It was like being stood up repeatedly yet still saying yes to a rescheduled date.

I fully expected us to make it 6-5 in the 7th.....sigh....

Congrats to the Red Sox Nation.

The Duck Boats are running! It's an awesome day in New England. The boats are filled with "baseball guys".

So, it is going to be Brad Ausmus! I was surprised that Dave Dombrowski picked Brad as he was the one candidate who Dave did not know personally. But, I am delighted that it is him. At age 44, he is wise beyond his years. And, an Ivy League education--Dartmouth--won't hurt. He will bring an energy to a club that needs a boost.

If they don't get some Relief pitching and get rid of Fat Ass at 1st base they are going to continue to underachieve. Its a shame since they have a ton of talent on the team.

Chris Sale not a finalist for the Cy Young :plain:

Scherzer will win but the kid at least deserved a nod.
