I'd love to see McCann try to get in Puig's face. Puig would beat the crap out of him and his unwritten rules.

I keep forgetting there are 9 innings in baseball. Good job today Phillies. Probably jinxed my O's. We'll probably lose 30-3, at least it won't be the first time. same there..dkglZY. rangers are fucking mashing. two HR, off Lester no less, so far and one of them is by the fucking leadoff guy.

This made me laugh out loud. Probably true. Especially if it's a walk off home run.

Tigers hitting has been dismal.

I'm not pushing the panic button. But, maybe, I've just looked at it a bit.

It is too early for SteveB to say, "Kitty, kitty."

Hats off to the Cleveland Indians. 10 wins in a row. What a fantastic way to end the regular season.

Not looking forward to a possible late playoff start time with Oakland. The game could start at 10 p.m., Eastern Time. Of course, for Tiger fans who live in the UK, the game will be perfect for watching over breakfast. biggrin.gif

I'm hitting the panic button. We haven't been the same since Cabreras injury which hasn't gotten any better.

I say Leyland needs to stack the lineup. Jhonny in left. If he can stay at his .300avg, which is a tall task not seeing mlb pitching for two months, it'll be such an upgrade over what we have in Dirks and/or Tui.

Looks like verlander found his stuff again in his last two starts. I haven't followed Oakland but I know year they swing at essentially everything, so we should have the clear edge in starting rotation. Bullpen is another story.

I'm sure Tui will be off the roster.
Bullpen with Smyley, Porcello, and Benoit should be stable and effective.

It's all going to come with the bats. We cannot expect Miggy to carry the team. Others are just going to have to step up their game.

I hope that Max pitches in game one. That way, if needed, he can pitch again in game five.

^ I think it'll be Verlander. His numbers against the As are pretty good. And can't forget last postseason against them.

Max. JV. Sanchez. Fister. That's the order per Leyland.

I still think that Sanchez is the best pitcher you guys have. Scherzer gave up 7 ER over two games to the White Sox in September, another free swinging team, and Sanchez has been (slightly) better against the As this season.

The Skipper has spoken. It will be Max.

I agree with you here. But really, he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. It's like picking between a Mercedes, BMW, and an Audi to drive for a weekend. People would debate. Bottom line. They just need to perform.

There are rumors that Dan Uggla has been left off the Braves' postseason roster and speculation that BJ Upton might be, as well. It's understandable from a numbers perspective, but weirdly surprising nonetheless.

I cant believe the Reds started Cueto.

ESPN only using postseason numbers in box scores is so infuriating.

about a week ago due to some bad luck, and my own stupidity I lost the opportunity to buy face value playoff redsox fenway tickets. but weirdly tonight there was tickets available again (fenway/redsox ticketing is weird, they'll randomly release another batch of tickets).

so yehey i got some playoff tickets for saturdays game at fenway! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
