People take that shit too seriously. I just like going to a game, eating shitty food, drinking a few beers, and people watching.

Is that so hard

Me too. WHen I was at the game yesterday I spent probably more time ogling this broad infront of me than watching the game. I also love how (at least here) baseball games really bring out the inner whore in girls. THere is jsut not delicate way to put it

Same here. Takes a little longer here to get a warm day but it happens. It doesn't hurt to have a good team. Girls actually want to go to games.

It's going to be in the 30s in the Bronx tomorrow night. The most I can hope for are leggings.

50 and sunny forecasted for Friday. Can't decide whether or not to ask this one girl to go or to sell for $350-400 (going rate for my seats). The decisions in life.

Ask the girl! Go to the game! The place will be electric. Wish I could go!

On another note, I can't wait to see the Jackie Robinson film.

Until November, girls will be wearing their denim booty-shorts and tank-tops to games.

The Twins drank Coke for dinner, tonight. The closer by committee thing is not going to work.
As warmer weather comes, eventually, the starting pitchers should be able to last longer into the game, and we will rely, less and less, on the bull pen.
Doug Fister gets the nod to pitch the home opener, in Detroit, on Friday.

The Tigers have signed Valverde to a minor league contract. God help us!

It's time to unleash Don Kelly. smile.gif

lol8[1].gif did you at least sneak down to the expensive seats before the 7th inning?

I was thinking of watching the red sox astros game next month... I was excited because it was an interleague game... but remembered it wasn't.... thats going to take some time to get used to. I kind of wish the Brewers moved back to the AL and traded with the astros. I loved the brewers in the AL.

Left after the 5th inning. That was absolutely the most miserable baseball experience of my life.

this may be the year (like in 2008/2009) where I start watching a lot of redsox yankee games in yankee stadium. their new ticketmaster system is very convenient. there seems to be a lot of reasonably priced tickets even with premium games. that was the way it was before, you could always get great face value tickets online even with redsox yankee games, maybe it'll be that way this year too.

I was actually at the last game played in the old stadium (vs the redsox with giambi getting winning walk off hit). I was going to put the ticket stubs on eBay but I use old tickets for bookmarks. I remember going to a bunch of games in 2008 then 2009 and sitting all over the place in the old stadium. the premium $300 tickets (with waitresses) on the third baseline that still weren't that good of seats because fans would block your view because you faced into the outfield, the lodge seating (which was great because it was in the shade/covered from rain/blazing sun, and the scary assed $13 seats in the upper tier where you could conceivably tumble down and fall off the grand stand and die because it was so steep. I'm surprised more fans didn't get injured up in the scary assed upper tier seats... they were so steep you kind of had to do a side step going up and down if you weren't confident/drunk.
