The Royals are so bad, even our fans in the dugout suites read books rather than watch the **** we're putting out there.

Well you haven't been beaten 30-3 yet, hold your heads up. On another note, it may be the Ranger's year. I saw Darvish strike out Granderson with the bases loaded and 0 outs then get A-Rod to hit into a DP.

OK, so I am thinking about switching allegiance... I have a few teams I'm considering and I need help because there are practical implications as well.

I have a jersey as a baseball gift that I can exchange (and I have to because it is too big). Do I keep it? Its a Red Sox jersey and I hate Yankees so that's an option. I am a Royals fan but will probably jump ship when they are good in a couple years. I'm thinking the Mets because of their ridiculous history and perpetual badness. So whichever you guys recommend I do is what I will do.

I wouldn't actually give up on the redsox if your considering cheering for the mets. The Sawx seem to find ways to lose excruciatingly - but I'll bet you that even this years team will pull off those 10game winning streaks and be in contention for the playoffs, WS.

but if you must change teams...

cheer for the Tampa Bay Rays and pretend to be a super diehard fan from their inception. become instantly angry about how they get no respect and how you loved the ******* team ever since they were the devil rays and your favorite player as a kid was fred mcgriff:

you get the best of both worlds because that team seems to be always competing (successfully against the Yankees and RedSox no less), but does it on a shoe string budget using advanced statistics that are even more advanced than what your super geekazoid fantasy baseball nerdzillas have any knowledge about. Plus there is always some super blue chip prospect that comes up more than once a year whom you can latch on to once the more established stars leave/are traded due to budget constraints.

I actually really like "Crime Dog McGriff" when he was with the Braves.

then its seamless... since you cheered for the braves you can latch on to the Rays because of the southern roots... and also complain about the respective fanbases (about how they don't show up for home games even when their teams are winning), you can also defend said fanbases for being diehards and complaining about the stadiums bad weather traffic lame location ect ect.

GODDAMMIT LARRY! I HOPE YOU READ YOUR PATIENTS' CHARTS BETTER THAN YOU READ MY POSTS!

I AM DOWN TO THE ROYALS, THE RED SOX AND THE METS!!!!!!!!!!!

NOTHING ELSE! NOT THE RAYS! NOT THE ORIOLES! NOT THE MARINERS! NOT THE DBACKS (although, side note: maybe I should because "Dbacks" sounds a **** ton like "dbags" which is kinda sweet if you think about it)!
