SO.....Ryan Braun NL MVP? Discuss.
Braun? Yes, possible. He has had a hell of a season.

Now what would happen if he wins and we find out the official MLB courier had the ballots in his home over the weekend because the offices were already closed for the day. Would that invalidate the result?

A disaster. Game is not over, bottom of the 9th, but we are losing 12-4. At least the Titanic had a band. Nothing is impossible but, in this case, hope is waning.

I went into a meeting with the Tigers holding an early lead.

I'm glad that the meeting went longer than anticipated and I didn't get to see the score keep climbing in the wrong direction.

Ouch.

I was pulling for the Tigers. Hope they can do something to slow down the A's wild card charge.

Why? I'd love the A's to get in.

They give my O's fits. Its honestly the one team I don't want to see in the playoffs.

Edit: the a's are the one team I don't want the O's to play in the playoffs.

Nats in the playoffs!

Ah, Ryan Howard, closing in on 300 HRs and just past 200 2Bs. I would like to see how the voting goes if he gets to 500HRs.

Yankees back up by 1!

O frabjous day! The White Sox lost in the 9th. The Tigers, in spite of yesterday's disaster, are still just 2 games back. There's hope. We face the Twins at home and the Sox face the Angels, away.

God I hate the Cubs - just go away already. Real teams trying to make the post season at work here.

Update: That didn't just happen....censored.gif

Anyone who said that sitting Strasburg would be the cause of the Nats not winning the World Series is dead wrong. As last night demonstrated, the Nats will only go as far as their bullpen takes them. Jackson pitched eight wonderful innings and Clippard blew the game.

Rain out last night. No game, but we moved up to just 1.5 games behind. Thank you, Angels!
