Sanchez pitched really well too. Disappointing. Him and Porcello have gotten the shaft on their starts over the last couple months.

Anderson was nearly perfect last night save for a few hard hit balls by prince.

I think tonight both Cabrera and Fielder finally get it going.

batters basically feared their life with him pitching though right? in that era you could bean the same batter multiple times without getting tossed or even warned.

Arod can't really hit a good fastball anymore. It was the difference between him and Manny Ramirez... many knew when to cheat and speed up his swing effectively. Arod still had hit offspeed stuff great though, especially when he sneaks a peak into the catcher and steals signs (the reason he used to wear the oakleys even during night games).

Gotta give it to Carpenter. Only his 3rd start back and he blanks the Nats. Boy, their offense is looking like shit.
