your Os could really play spoiler for Red Sox Nation

We play 7 of our last 11 against them. We'd have to go 0-11 in that stretch to lose 100 games for the year which I thought was a no brainer a month ago. I thnk we'll take 3-4 in the first series then 2 of 3 in the second.

I'd rather see the Detroit Tigers face Boston than Tampa Bay in the playoff. We don't want to see those TB pitchers again.

If you were to tell me before the game that Boston would score 18 runs I would have believed you. If you were to tell me that Kevin Gregg would make an appearance and not give up a run I would have bet you a million dollars. Brian Matusz has been garbage this season. His ERA goes up every time he takes the mound. Hopefully he puts it together, I still think he can. I don't know, this season....Kevin Gregg cursed our season.

Edit: As a matter of fact, if you were to bet me that the O's would be up 9-0 entering the 9th and lose 18 to 9 due to Kevin Gregg giving up 18 earned runs I would have believed that too.

lol @ the Rays streaking. The Angels could sneak into the WC. Red Sox make it to the postseason because they played five months of great ball. Texas and Detroit in ALCS. Phillies and someone else.

The Sox or Rays are going to be so gassed going into the ALDS. Boston is just in shambles. They are toast for this weekend with their pitching. Lester, Wakefield, LACKEY against the yankees?!?

I hope the Tigers can hang onto home field for the ALDS. They tweaked the starting rotation by pitching Fister and Scherzer yesterday so either are ready for Game 2. My guess is that Fister goes Game 2 if we are away since Scherzer has a horrendous ERA on the road.

AND, Cabrera was spotted taking grounders at 3B. granted, they have a while before they have to worry about that, but they need to figure out a way to get Martinez some ABs in the world series at the NL park.

I wish I had more of a back and forth with O's fans this season. People keep saying Boston will back in to the playoffs but I don't think so.

I loathe the Sawx and their fans. Boston fans are the worst in sports.

FWIW you said they were "dead" like two weeks into the season.

Douglas--Atlanta's fans are pretty bad. Like, they lack anything that makes them good fans. There are exceptions, MrG being one but we're bad.

I can't imagine the Brewers trading him away. With him and Gallardo one and two on their staff, they have a legitimate shot at winning the NL Central. (The Brewers are my team, so maybe that's too optimistic. But I'm excited about their chances this year.)
This guy made a very good prediction; he is to be commended on his powers of foresight. It's fun to be a Brewers fan in St. Louis right now!
