I'm a small / extra small -- chest measurement 35" - 36" -- but I need a 15 1/4 - 15 1/2 collar to comfortably button the top button. Is this unusual? Second question: What to do about it? There is, of course, the tailor -- get 15 1/2 shirts, have them darted -- but are there a few off-the-rack solutions? I know of a few shirtmakers (GANT Rugger is just a little small, but I can re-stitch the button a quarter inch over with ease; Epaulet and Save Khaki fit perfectly, Apolis is pretty OK) but I have difficulty finding any good "beater' shirts that cost less than 40 bucks. Any suggestions?
