changing my style of shoe

ok... I've been changing my wardrobe over from the usual Abercrombie and what-not to a more classier look, but I cant seem to change my shoes over without looking funny. These are the shoes I wear with just about every outfit:

I do have a pair of brown loafers from ecco (http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2869000?...nelImage=False) but I never can seem to put it with an outfit and be confident in it.

When I go shoe shopping I look for shoes similar to the first one... which doesn't help my situation.

Soooo I was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem.... and do you think i look trashier with this?

Chelsea or Chukka boots wouldn't be a bad way to go, do a search on this forum, there are numerous pictures of them.

Assuming that your white shoes goes with just about everything in your wardrobe, maybe you should just switch to a simpler designed white shoe for a classier look. A lot of people on this board seem to like Common Projects, but they go for a pretty penny:

For a cheaper alternative, but not so luxurious, perhaps Jack Purcells?

Otherwise, more info about your wardrobe (colors, types, brands, hoodies? button-downs? jeans? slacks? wool trousers? sweaters? etc) would definitely help people make recommendations.

Yours Truly,
Timmy.

or just a white adidas stan smith would do if you don't want to do common projects.

+1 on the Stan Smith's. You can't go wrong with them.

Alright all of that helps a lot! Ive never seen these but I really like them....

What I usually wear is jeans with tee's, mostly plain/simple stripes long sleeve shirts, polo's of different colors and designs, and some button-downs. I just about always layer my shirts. I usually wear a jacket/ sweater of some sort over that.. usually not a blazer, its more of a zipper hoodie/jacket. I always wear a belt.. Its really a simple wardrobe but it gets the job done.

Not sure if this helps but if it does, sweet
