Sort of disappointing how all the big matchup games today have been ass whippings. Clemson over VT, Wisconsin killing Nebraska, Alabama dominating Florida, that abortion of an Ohio State/Michigan State game...ugh.

SMU has a better record than TCU. This would be sweet if I had ever really rooted for SMU football.

The Canes won. Against Bethune Cookman. I'm not sure if I should feel glad that they even got a ******* win.

I wouldn't be. I mean, 11 beating 1 guy isn't really much to write home about....

I knew this season was gonna suck, but I never thought I'd be concerned about the Bucks getting shut out at home.

It was awesome to see Wisco whip up on Nebraska as a little "welcome to Big 10 country" - but that just made me realize how badly both of those teams are going to embarrass us in the next few weeks. Thank heavens for Purdue and Indiana on the schedule.

Andrew Luck is ridiculous. That one-handed, gloveless catch was crazy. We need Tokyo Slim back to discuss Luck v. Locker.

TCU to Big 12. this after they agreed to join Big East and made pretty strong comments saying they were sticking there. I may be thinking too much about this but it shows TCU cannot be trusted.

Well, so much for the "is Texas for real this year" question. No, they are not anywhere near a top 10 team yet.

Shrug. Big East is the lowest of the BCS conferences, never made much sense for TCU, and is in a death spiral. The Big 12 is the most logical fit for TCU anyway, helps stabilize the league, and has been their long term aspiration. It makes sense. A little shady but it's NCAA football.

Texas was never the real deal and I don't think a lot of the Texas natives believed it either. Even the news were reporting it as a shock going into this game 4-0. Notre Dame definitely made a good showing today.

I think with teams pulling out of the Big East and for ticket sales the Big 12 always made more sense, they just didn't get the option before. I definitely think it will cost TCU money for backing out, but I also think the Big 12 will help pay some of it as they have done in the past for teams that enhance their ticket sales margins.

Now if only the Big 12 could acquire Houston and they'd be set again. Bye Bye Aggies.
