Added a few more shares now at 280 and will add more at 270, 260, etc. I mean on the bright side, with an index like this I get the volatility that lets me make money in between without the risk of any one company just dying.

Post election it will probably recover.

IBB down about 4% today; good entry point if that's your play.

Is this market ever going to correct? FFS I've been sitting on the sidelines with cash waiting and waiting. So much for being disciplined. Come on already.

And IBB down another 2% at this moment.

GILD at $73 😱

They're like the AAPL of biotech.

New money to deploy or old money waiting around?  Early 2016 and the Brexit were good opportunities.

Took advantage of both but more heavy on early this year. It's where most of my gains for the year come from. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Just curious, what are everyone's thoughts on gold as an asset allocation?

For those that allocate for it what percentages and do you prefer physical bullion or ETFs?

I don't know if I would be using "Robert Reich agrees with me" as a selling point for my argument.

Just doing outreach to the left.

I suppose it's enough that MS and me are in agreement though.

New money building over the last 6 months as well as a few positions that I've sold. I'd like to see a 500 or 600 point shift to deploy the capital.

Wells Fargo CEO stepping down.

What does relinquishing the reins to another fellow one spot below him really do other than satiate the blood lust of the political saber rattlers.

Isn't that enough? The board's goal at this point isn't to deliver perfectly balanced karmic justice to all concerned at this point. It's to weather the storm and have get people to view this as yesterday's news as quickly as possible. If you take the wind out of the sails of some of the saber rattling (it must be Talk Like A Pirate Day again), you move that ball.
You could flip it around and ask: what do you accomplish by keeping him in place? Is there any reason to believe that from today forward he'd be a materially better CEO than his #2?
