IIRC, wrongweather used fedex express international and I still got hit with customs. Isn't using USPS supposed to have a lower probability of getting hit with customs?

Yah, so far USPS is the only carrier that hasn't hit me with customs fees, tracking sucks though, you won't get an update until it is delivered. It's is pretty useless actually.

The avoidance of any additional fees really makes up for their poor tracking service though. I was just notified via email that my package was dropped off, which was actually delivered to me last Friday. haha

That's true, you really have to give up good tracking so I'm cool with it because most of the time I get charged a percentage of the value of the item.

Ya, I don't understand why this is a problem. I am in no hurry for stuff coming from overseas if I can save an assload on shipping. Don't need tracking, give the people what they want. But for 18 euros that tres bien charges I will gladly pay for 2 day delivery.

I incurred no customs fees from my order and it arrived Fed Ex Express International in 2 days.

The shipping fees have been discussed ad nauseum in here already no? I'll patiently await the SF offer.

Yeah, I think he sorted out the two big issues from their end:

1) currency on the invoice for US customers is defaulted at USD instead of EURO without conversion, so since I wasn't paying close attention to that there was a deficit that I needed to send over afterward.

2) the wrong e-mail was listed on their paypal profile for their company.

So in my case, I had to send over the remaining balance, but they didn't list a paypal address in the e-mail they sent, nor did they send me a paypal invoice, so I assumed sending the money to their paypal "company e-mail" was the correct course of action.

Before doing that, I did some google-fu to make sure the e-mail's host site was related to the company name since it was pretty fishy at first (hellokitty.com.pt lol). And it turned out the two were related, so that plus getting the order confirmation from the first payment sent led me to believe there were no problems.

To end the wall of text, it was the wrong e-mail (but has since been corrected on their paypal profile). I have to open a dispute with the other party that I sent money to, and will be escalating the claim on Monday.

The package was sent out immediately after they received the remaining balance and should have arrived today, but customs is waiting for wrongweather to provide manufacturer's information for the items I bought.

So, paying attention + not making assumptions would have avoided all of this. I would definitely order from them again, though, now that those things have been dealt with.
