Yeah, I think he sorted out the two big issues from their end:
1) currency on the invoice for US customers is defaulted at USD instead of EURO without conversion, so since I wasn't paying close attention to that there was a deficit that I needed to send over afterward.
2) the wrong e-mail was listed on their paypal profile for their company.
So in my case, I had to send over the remaining balance, but they didn't list a paypal address in the e-mail they sent, nor did they send me a paypal invoice, so I assumed sending the money to their paypal "company e-mail" was the correct course of action.
Before doing that, I did some google-fu to make sure the e-mail's host site was related to the company name since it was pretty fishy at first (hellokitty.com.pt lol). And it turned out the two were related, so that plus getting the order confirmation from the first payment sent led me to believe there were no problems.
To end the wall of text, it was the wrong e-mail (but has since been corrected on their paypal profile). I have to open a dispute with the other party that I sent money to, and will be escalating the claim on Monday.
The package was sent out immediately after they received the remaining balance and should have arrived today, but customs is waiting for wrongweather to provide manufacturer's information for the items I bought.
So, paying attention + not making assumptions would have avoided all of this. I would definitely order from them again, though, now that those things have been dealt with.
