just act like you don't see them

but that you might accidentally fall and impale them with your throbbing cock if they play their cards right

we doing the pluses and minuses of the iPUA boys again are we? I've learned some handy tips/tricks/background psych from those guys, and I like the way that the core of that community goes about it (let's see if this will work...50 guys in 50 cities try it on 10 girls each with scant regard for the possibility of rejection...develop report based on sample of 500...rinse, repeat). I don't like all the bro-ism that is part and parcel of it, and I think (probably moreso than other iCommunities) you have to be very careful to not get too trapped in it. Still, I think that basically any single guy can learn something from reading up on these guys, and I'm glad I dabbled in it in my single days. I'm equally glad I didn't ever get too caught up in it.

Are you a musician by any chance? If you play for a band or are the frontman, you don't even have to try.

Trust me. v_v

Let's pretend that you didn't mess this up on the first text. Addressing the following parts...

When this happens, don't text her again (ever). If she's interested she will text you eventually, even if she somehow didn't get your last message. You not texting her again will be infinitely better than anything else you could possible say. It's not really playing a game, it's just common sense. You asked her what she was up to tonight. Apparently she didn't give a shit, so fuck it. I should add that, under special circumstances (you're really into this girl), maybe text her in the future. Wait at least a week. This of course would be assuming that your conversation went better from the beginning than yours did.

While this seems like a nice idea, this is something you say to a significant other, not some chick you just met.

The rest is just a train wreck. I think the main issue here is that to successfully act like you're not interested, you have to genuinely not be interested. That's why guys that try and put on a front are so miserable at it. It really can't be faked. Or at least, it can't be faked to a successful degree, or for very long. You really have to believe that she should be chasing you as much as you should be chasing her. If you don't sincerely believe that, it will show through soon enough. Reading some stupid book isn't going to solve that. It really just comes from self confidence. There is a fine line between being a dick and being desired - always remember that. Girls don't like dick heads. To put it more intimately, no self respecting girl worth pursuing would give the time of day to a guy that treats her bad. Girls do like nice guys that know how to play hard to get without being rude, immature, or disrespectful.

You are 20 and you have trouble meeting girls your age??? And you go to school? How can that be?

I mean what if I wait unitl this coming Monday and text her one last time, something along the lines of, "Hey, I know I came off as a complete moron and loser via text but thats not really what Im like. If by some chance you can overlook my "nervousness" (thats my attempt of making her smile or laught or find something cute in my situation) I would like to get to know you and even chase you if I may lol. If not then I guess you got to at least laught at my moronic self." I was thinking of adding the last part to be funny in some way.

What the heck, I talk to chicks older than me and dont have a problem, talk to chick younger than me and dont have a problem, and now this girl my age I completly screw up?!?!

+1. Life is too short to get hung up on 1 girl you barely know.

Exactly, if you get even a couple one word answers in a row you're done, pull the parachute, don't even say goodbye just turn and leave. If I even have to ask two questions in a row without her asking one back I'm over it, if they can't make an effort to prolong the conversation then they aren't into you. A chick that is even slighly interested will start asking you questions, chicks live for that shit. If they don't then bail.

The secret for me is not caring and being able to write them off in a second, laugh about it and move on. I think that's were the cocky thing works, in my mind it's her fault so my confidence is still sky high, yeah it's all internal dialogue and a mind game but it works...

People actually do this? I can't imagine even thinking to try it.

Yes she saw wussy behavior as in all talk (and hope) but no action.

You are done.....luckily you still have tons of other quality women out and about to meet. Just learn from this situation and do not make similar mistakes.
