Actually I spent a few months focused on this very topic, and with some research, dedication and biofeedback techniques I am to the point where I have limitless stamina. Past the 45 minute mark it starts to require significant concentration and willpower, but it's nice to be able to be able to control when you pop to within about 5 seconds.
