Battlestar Galactica - Page 3

The ending of season four episode 2 pretty much blew it all open. Again. Think the relatively low key start to season 4 is making up for the melodrama and surrealness that preceeded it, but it's still lacking the awesome bleak grittyness that the start of season 3 held.

This is a pretty geeky question, but can someone explain to me how Tigh can be a Cylon? He's too old.... Predates Cylons-as-humans.

As far as we can tell, the skin-jobs do not age (physically) and were never children... so I assume he was planted at some point and a back-story made for him (complete with memories/etc) just as was the case with Sharon/Boomer and the other "sleepers".

That, or you just discovered something awesome!

Can someone explain to me why the show is sucking again? I didn't see tonight's episode yet, but that Cally episode was mostly garbage.

It wasn't entirely unredeemable... (spoilers) At least they finally got rid of Cally....

You'd better be right about this.

Personally I think the real Tigh was replaced once the skinjobs were created.

That actually makes a lot more sense. This is now my theory as well. Don't worry, I'll credit you.

Fightin' words! I'd really prefer Tory took a spacewalk. But at least, during that episode, I wasn't rolling on the floor in an uncontrollable fit of laughter, which makes it more successful than the episode where Kat got fried. This last one was ok. Some of the writing was excellent, though Baltar's speech at the end was surprisingly meh.

I wouldn't have minded that either... in a perfect world, I would have liked to see both.

Well, we are all perfect.

So, I watched the newest episode last night. Did anyone else catch it? It was fairly wow(s), and it is gonna' be a difficult wait until 2009.

No. I gave up on the show after Sine Qua Non.
