I'm not a Trickers authority, but the toe box does look slightly different (it could just be the angle of the pics). Those boots look nice. I've got both the coffee and the nut brown on the way. I like the fact that the toe looks sleek. Both colors should work well with jeans, especially once the boots are worn in a little.

Mmm those are good but not what I was expecting either. I was expecting more like Get Smart's coffee MTOs. I.e., a darker brown. I have a pair of STP Nut Brown brogue boots from one of the previous times they sold these, and they now look real close to zissou's coffee, but are duller (and dirtier). A little more orange as well. I treated them with a light coat of Obenauf's LP.

+1 - they'll be fine with jeans, and if you use a slightly darker polish you can build up a great finish. A dark brown all over and blending a little black in on the toe could look great.

My guess is these were a special produced for a store and the order fell through. Tricker's (well most of the Northampton companies) make specials to be sold under a different name. I've never known them lower the quality for a special.

Mine don't say Stow on them, the box and the boot list the style as the M7395. Maybe it's something they do to get rid of some excess product or leather without making it directly comperable to existing models so as not to detract as much from the value of their boots that retailers have on their shelves? Who knows, but the quality seems great on mine and I'm thrilled with the look of them.

These are fitting 5, but the toes are definitely a little longer than on Stows. I have seen Maltons in fitting 5 as well, without the commando sole. Espresso would have been a better color, in my opinion. But, maybe I should suck it up. Either way, I have a UK10 in these if anyone wants them. The 9.5 fit me best.

Personally I think the slightly longer toe looks better. What's written inside them? I think part of the code will be the last number.

Pediwear has Stows for 270 GBP ex VAT, that is 434 USD. I got the espresso Stows from them a couple years ago, definitely a great color, love the boots.

Yeah, but that is still $463 shipped vs. $296 from STP (I emailed them after I bought them with the 25% off coupon and asked about the 30% one someone posted and they credited me the difference....awesome service from that place!)

Anyone receive their wingtips yet? If so, please post some pics. I think mine are held up due to weather.

EDIT: Then again, I do have a bunch of deglazer and chocolate and cordovan dye...

Do all the STP boots have the antiqued, dark finish in the holes for the broguing?

THey don't look like Stows or Malton at all to me - the leather as well as the shape.

That said, of course I'd jump on them if I were in the US and they had my size.

Any reports on the brogue shoes? Are they the regular Paisley or do they have the antiquing?

I bought brogues that were delivered today. I will try and get some pics up tonight.
