Man of Steel (2013) - Page 7

F*** it. Superboy Prime has got them all beat.

WW Hulk annoyed me. As a Hulk comic, it was awesome. But it cheapened the rest of Marvel. You have a few people that the Hulk can destroy are able to take on any hero that Earth can put forth. It made everyone else seem.... minuscule.

Besides, the Hulk is pure physical strength. Superman just picks him up, and tosses him into space. He can't do anything about that.

On a side note, I thought that the fact that Ghost Rider is potentially more powerful than the Hulk is cool.

Oh, come on. You can't bring fucking reality-warpers into the conversation. If that were the case, Mad Jim Jaspers could take on The Hulk and Superman at the same time. No problem.

EDIT: Actually the way they write Wolverine these days, the same could pretty much be said for him.

Wolverine is strong, and was getting completely powerful. During the Civil War arc, he completely regenerated from his skeleton in a few minutes. But it's been toned down since.

As for Superboy Prime, he's Silver Age Superman roughly, if I remember correctly. Superman Prime from DC One Million is power. He spent thousands of years in the Sun.

I was kidding with Prime. The guy is a powerhouse at a level no one in either universe could stand one on one with.

Still think Hulk could stand up to Superman. Even if he didnt win in the end.

How do they not make this dude the bad guy in the new movie?!?

The CW has announced the schedule for the final episode of their hit series "Smallville," which will wrap its ten-year run on May 13th with a two-hour finale at 8:00pm EST. The exact plot and title of the final episode are still under wraps, but the official press release describes the finale as follows:

The story of a young Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and his journey to become the Man of Steel has captivated audiences for a decade. This final season, Clark attempts to find a balance between saving the world, which becomes even more difficult as the Vigilante Registration Act separates a nation, and spending time with his new fiancée Lois Lane (Erica Durance). Whether it's donning glasses as a disguise, changing in a phone booth or learning how to fly, this season has put Clark closer to his destiny than ever before. Taking on Darkseid and battling the darkest of his demons, this two-hour event will send Clark soaring towards his birthright to secure his place in history as the world's greatest protector.

"Paying homage to 10 seasons is no small task, and wrapping up each character and story arc has been extremely important to everyone involved in the show," said executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders. "We're excited to be able to make the final moments of 'Smallville' a television event, as the character we've grown up with makes his legendary transformation."

I liked Smallville seasons 1-2, then the monster of the week routine got old. Then season 5-6 were good, then boring, then 8 was solid.... now.... I haven't watched it since then. I should catch up, it's not a horrible show, and the ending should be good.

I may have spoken too soon. IMDB has him listed for the second to last episode.

^ But..it also lists Zod. Is he coming back too? Well, whatever. I'm slowly coming to peace with the fact that M.R. won't show up. However, if they don't make Clark fly, Tom Welling is going to be receiving a few death threats. From me.

+1 to both.

Rosenbaum made the early season, he was just fantastic.

And Clark needs to fly... sure, they producers have always said "no tights, no flying", but I really think it needs to end with him accepting who he is, what he is, and thus have the ability to fly.

The Lionels in general were awesome whatever episode/season they were in. So, yeah. Either he flies for real this time or I'll be purchasing some weapons. Just to fuck with him, I'll paint them green.
