Did anyone really expect it to live up to the trailers? Those things were like mini-movies in themselves.

Fuck the haters. Can't wait to see this. #believe!

^I agree with this. I wanted to believe but it seems like the trailers showed the best parts of the movie?

still going to see it.

Reading some non-spoiler reviews, no, we have not. Not even close.

That is good to know.

Said this elsewhere, but I'm hoping an inverse-relationship can be confirmed by this movie. As it drops on Rotten Tomatoes, it will in fact be more liked generally by SF-members.

Higher rated movies have been heavily criticized here: TDK, TDKR, Avengers, IM3, etc.

I WILL BELIEVE!!!! (At least until I see it tonight at midnight)

IM3 does suck though.

But with Rambo banned, I think it'll be tame overall. I mean IM3 thread barely got any responses after it came out when usually it'll go on for days and weeks of arguing, didn't happen this time around even after the disgrace they did with Mandarin.

He forgot to wear his underwear inside his suit again after he got the suit out of the dryer.

TBH, the lack-of-undies isn't bothering me as much as it did when the first images leaked. Particularly after hearing Snyder's reasoning behind eliminating it.

IM3 is at a ridiculous 78% at RT right now for some unknown reason. It was terribad.

A lot of the negative reviews for Man of Steel seem to take umbrage with it's darker tone, which actually seems like a positive to me. Superman, with his All-American Boy Scout image, was always one of the dorkiest superheroes.

Thought I would put this review here. Most other reviews seem to harp on the comparison to Christopher Reeve, darker tone, etc, etc. I thought this one and a few others seem to not be weighted down by the past.

I, for one, can't wait to see this.
