I really hope it isn't that concept drawing of Superman with his belt buckle built into the suit. I've never heard of the actor who was casted as Superman, but hopefully he can do the job.

I thought Brandon Routh did a pretty good job as Superman.

I hope to see Dark Seid, the vilain who killed Superman in this movie.
All other Superman Vilains are weak. And Lex Luthor was ****** in the previous episodes.

I still believe in Nolan, so I will see what it brings to this film. I also like Snyder and really enjoyed the 300 and Watchmen, and look forward to his next film Sucker Punch, so more reasons to love this movie. I think we will see a lot of green screen and slow motion action in the next movie.

McAdams is the only viable actress in that list. Biel is hot but I don't see her being Lois Lane, too macho. I know Lois is supposed to be this hard nosed reporter that doesn't take **** from anymore but she isn't built like she can kill people, Biel is. Kirsten can't act, don't know about the Glee chick but she looks too young. And Akerman is hot and would do nudity but she can't act, she was the worst part of Watchmen, she is like the female version of Hayden Christensen.

The should consider Rachel Weisz as Lois Lane or is she too old? Since I read somewhere that they want to portray an older Supermn, Lois should be older too so Rachel is perfect.

Weisz would do very well as an older Lois. Otherwise McAdams is my pick as well.

I really can not think of one of the Acts of the top of my head. I can not think much of the actress 20 years, I know she did the voice of Lois cartoon, but I think Dana Delany would have done a great live-action Lois in his younger days hey. She had the perfect look and nail to act more serious and less Lois Kidder clutzy version but still able to inject a bit of comedy and fun in the role. Alas, it never will be.

Looks like Lois Lane is not going to be in the film. It will be some other female character.

No Lois Lane In The New "Superman"

email to a friend
By Garth Franklin Friday February 4th 2011 03:25AM

So much for all those Lois Lane rumors this week, turns out Warner Bros. Pictures is trying something altogether different.

German actress Diane Kruger ("Inglourious Basterds," "National Treasure") along with Brits Alice Eve ("She's Out of My League"), and Rosamund Pike ("Die Another Day," "An Education") have now emerged as the three actresses in contention for the female lead character in the upcoming "Superman" reboot reports Variety.

The big twist? While the character's identity hasn't been disclosed, it has been confirmed that it will NOT be Lois Lane. The studio apparently doesn't want a name that could overshadow leading man Henry Cavill, so all the talk of Rachel McAdams and Kristen Stewart as Lois is now rendered null and void.

The studio is also in search of its villain, but no names have been locked and which character to be used (ie. Lex Luthor, General Zod, Brainiac, Darkseid, Parasite, etc.) will be used. Zack Snyder directs from a script by David Goyer with Christopher Nolan producing. Filming kicks off this Summer.

Some sort of timeline where he's living on the farm and has yet to get to Metropolis? Agree 100% on McAdams. I think Wilde could pull it off as well. They'd have to give her a padded bra though.
