Can someone suggest a hairstyle?

I've been rocking the same wash-and-brush-flat hairstyle for years now, and amid suggestions from others and personal opinion, I'd like to do something different with my hair.

Here are a couple old pictures, but not much has changed. I'm still skinny with a huge head, sculpted jaw line, about the only difference is I keep some trimmed stubble now...

Some suggested a hair style like Dexter/Michael Hall however my hair is rather thick and fairly straight.
