Is there any source for Barbour stuff at a discount in the US other than STP?  Thanks.

Anyone know where I can purchase a Bedale in size 32 in the sage color in the US (or can ship to the US)?

There's several online sites from across the pond, but they do not ship to the US.

Orvis?

You're absolutely correct! For some reason I thought they only went down to 34.

I have an International A225 Scrambler beeswax jacket with sleeves that are too long.  I want to get it tailored.  Can any tailor handle this alteration job or it must be sent back to Barbour USA?  The cuffs are just plain ones and don't have any side opening or button.  Thanks.

Any good tailor.

What's the consensus on whether or not Barbour will still service items that have received modification/alteration by non-Barbour tailors?

I've thought about having some work done on my To Ki To, work that Barbour USA itself won't or can't do, but was always a little worried that, if I did, they wouldn't take it back for rewaxings.

Edit: Additionally--and you'll have to forgive me if this isn't the right place to do this, I haven't been on the boards in a while--I'm looking for a spare throat latch for the green Commander or Sportsjacket. Size Medium, if it makes a difference.

Hello, if I am 5'4'', and 120 lbs, with a 35.5'' chest, which would fit better: a 32 regular bedale or a 34 bedale SL (or does a 32 bedale SL exist)? If anyone could provide the measurements for these as well, it would be tremendously appreciated.

I am looking for a slim silhouette, with room to wear a light sweater underneath... thanks!

Never tried the SL but I think a 32 regular bedale will be just fine. PM me if you have more questions.

Yes, Bedale SL does come in 32.

Hi all, apologies this kind of question has been asked a million times already:

I'm looking at a navy ashby in small on ebay. I'm 5"8, 140 pounds and wear a 36" in jackets normally. Is the small a safe bet (will be wearing with sweaters) or do I sound like an extra small? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hey, first time posting here... You are my height, but I'm about 148lbs and wear a 38 in jackets.  I actually have the ashby in xsmall and have worn it over sweaters. It's a bit snug for me around the chest, but fits perfect with just a shirt under.  I should have gotten a small but Xsmall worked out for me and I like the slim look.  It sounds like an Xsmall would suit you.  For reference, the chest (pit-to-pit) on a small ashby is 20.5 inches.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply OG, and welcome to the forum.

I had a strong feeling that a small would be pushing it for me, thanks for confirming it. You have likely saved me from making a potentially disappointing purchase.
