Offical Barbour Thread - Page 21

So i've been thinking about getting a Barbour Bant quilted jacket and was wondering about how it fits. According to the chart I should be a size small but from the photos i've seen pn models there is quite a lot of room in there. Is that true?

Would it be difficult to get it altered?

How does everyone feel about Barbour's custom developed camo? Looks like it's made up of silhouettes of different animals (dogs, birds, etc.)  I'm a fan- especially on this piece.

Alternate shots/more product can be viewed at Bodega's website: http://shop.bdgastore.com/products/bourne-camo-jacket

Im a fan. Ive handled that jacket in person a few times. Its pretty nice. I would prefer it was able to take a liner though. They have a shoulder bag and quilted jacket in the same pattern

I haven't seen one in ages.

You can pick up the non-waxed one here:

or the waxed cycling shirt here:

Thank you for the replies!

I see that the Bicycle jacket is available in laminated cotton but the sage colour and wax cotton just sings to me.

I intended to use the Bicycle jacket for.....well... bicycling.  I commute to work on a pedal bicycle and looking for something that looks good on and off the bike and love the scooped hem at the back.

I have one concern about wax cotton: the potential moisture trapping of the wax cotton when riding the bike.  typically there is a lot of heat generated inside the jacket and the wax cotton may not be as breathable.  The good news is that the Bicycle jacket has vents at the back.

Any thoughts are appreciated?

Thank you

I like it too, but don't know what it is a short version of. This?:

They don't really look alike to me besides the patch pockets.

ya i dunno why it's call a "short" version, personally the original international jacket is not that long to begin with.

I really need some help here...
I bought a Barbour New Utility jacket in small, but it was tight around my waist (true waist size is "34, use "32 in jeans)
I was going to change it for medium one, but Barbour New Utility is discontinued.

I really liked the Barbour New Utility look, and their updated version is now the Barbour Corbridge. However, I'm afraid that the Barbour Corbridge in medium still could be to small around the waist, because it really seems like a slimmer version.
Here is a pic:

It's just before the jacket starts "pulling" at the bottom, but it do not pull atm.
