Is it normal for Barbour waxed cotton jacket to trap moisture?  I tried on one indoor.  It made me sweat already after a couple of minute.  It became so uncomfortable like sitting in a sauna I had to take it off.

Is this really a serious question?

I've had this problem with my Barbours too, they really lock in the moisture

If your biker jacket comes with a belt, do you usually wear it with or without the belt?

I wore my international for awhile without it but find I like it better with it now.

Are you zipped up all the time with the belt or you just wear it unzipped and let the belt hang loose?

Most commonly belted unzipped or unzipped un belted followed by zipped and belted. I run hot though and don't do that unless it's raining out

a local store finally got the liddesdale in and i was able to try it on. S is a bit too tight when done up but has perfect arm length, whilst M is better on the body but the arms are a solid 2" too long. is rolling them up an option? i was kinda in a rush and barbour don't have stores here (australia) so sending it to the uk for alterations would pretty much cost as much as the jacket itself.

Get the M and have a local tailor shorten the sleeves.

What should be the proper "fitted" length of the International or other similar style belted Barbour biker jacket?  Should the hem end just before the lower buttocks like a suit jacket or else it's too long?
