Got back from Kittery - the whole store is 30% off - Bedale/Beaufort rack are at 30% off so total w/ tax comes to 257 and change. Snagged a 38 bedale in navy.

oh boy, looks like that 30% is still going on huh, good for you. i can't go till next week, hope they keep the sale up. i need a 38 bedale in sage/green.

did you see any tokitos?
They had like 5 left - one of which was in an insanely small size. There were some versions of something like a quilted international (w/o belt) but very small selection.

Theres no Tokitos besides 2 size small Motorcycle Quilt Jackets, some Summer Blazers and a few wax Blousons.
They must have just put the store at 30%. I was there Wednesday and the only sales were 50% Tokitos and Quilteds were buy one get one half off

generally, is the NH or ME store better? Determined to take a trip to either of the two (or both) this week
post #171 of 2410
i will do both, they are about an hour and half away. but i think they have just about the same amount of stuff. by the way, if u have a used coat that you don't want anymore bring it with you, donate at the Kittery and u get $25 toward your purchase, as long as the coat is clean.

NH has more variety but is limited in sizing. But the damage rack is great. Scored two $1000 Tokitos for $150 that they fixed on the spot for me at no charge (a buton was missing on each)
ME has more in times of size runs but less variety (for mens anyway).

i called the factory, they had a tokito military jacket with a red tag, said that there's a tiny cut on the sleeves. is that one of the tokitos you got? I want to get myself a olive bedale or ashby but so far no luck...

The one I got was a military but theres no cut on the sleeve, it just had a missing button. Got a chambray military tokito too which must be a either a SS12 sample or something that never made it to production. I saw Bedales on the rack but i dont know what the damage on them was

ah, thanks, maybe i'll go up tmrw, since i got nothing to do.
was the damaged rack an additional 30% off as well as the other stuff
post #177 of 2410
30% at NH (where the damaged rack is) was only for Black Friday weekend. They have no sales going on now. 30% in ME stopped about a week and a half ago, the only sale they have going on right now was buy one quilted get a second half off

does anyone have measurements on a 38 bedale?
i dun have measurement on that 38 bedale, but i generally take a 40 in suits and find that 40 bedale is kinda loose fitting and 38 is a pretty good fit with some layers

According to Barbour - Classic Bedale

Back Length (CM) 76.2

Sleeve Length (CM) 83.8

Chest (CM) 117.2

Note - they have done a few different versions over recent years - the Engineered Bedale for example was cut much slimmer.
