Slightly small rather than TTS - quite fitted for a Barbour. Definitely smaller than my Barbour Chelsea.

How does my Barbour Bedale fit? The Barbour store didn't have it in my preferred size, but this size should work.

Edit: Please ignore the skinny jeans, I was just trying on some old jeans that has been in my closet for years.

And if someone is wondering: I am 5'7'', 136 lbs and have a 37.5'' chest. This is size 34''.

bump?

Fit looks fine. It's supposed to fit a bit oversized if you're not wearing a sweater underneath (looks like you're wearing just a shirt).

Looks good to me.

Just make sure not to size down to the point where you're movement's restricted.

Thank you, guys!

Has anyone on here been to either one?

I'm in need of a Bedale in a 48 (I'm a big dude) in Navy (or possibly any other color). I suppose I like the fact that the rear opens so I don't have to unzip to sit down.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You could call both and ask about pricing & availability in your size. I hit the ME outlet over labor day weekend as they were having a tent sale. We picked up quilted jackets for my wife & 6y/o daughter. That location always seems to have an abundance of big guy sizes so you should be fine. I wanted a 42 Navy Bedale earlier this yr and it took a few weeks for them to get one. They told me that they were awaiting an order from NH. Bedale/Beaufort are normally $299 and don't often go on sale. Sales are typically unannounced. I got lucky with a sale. I picked up my Beaufort at the NH location and it was just over $200 which I think was their regular price. NH has no sales tax either. Lastly, as was mentioned, the Orvis outlet in ME also, carries Barbour. I found my XL flyweight Sapper their for a steal during a sale.

As I'm typing this I realize I'm very likely confusing you even more. I'd recommend calling and make your decision based on stock and prices at the time. The ME outlet is an easy 1 hr drive from Boston while Milford, NH is a bit longer.

Hi guys.

I am going to be purchasing a Barbour jacket very soon and I have narrowed the choice down to four jackets. I was wondering if you could give me your input. First off I live in Iceland and the winters are usually around 0°C (32F).

I'm thinking about these jackets:

Corbridge http://www.outdoorandcountry.co.uk/Mens-Barbour-Corbridge-Waxed-Jacket.html

Ashby  http://www.outdoorandcountry.co.uk/Mens-Barbour-Ashby-Waxed-Jacket.html

Sapper  http://www.outdoorandcountry.co.uk/barbour-sapper-jacket.html?feature=p_barbour-sapper-jacket

Kenmuir  http://www.countryattire.com/barbour-men-s-kenmuir-jacket-navy-mwb0413ny71.html#freegifts

Another thing, the sizing, it's really confusing. I'm 6'2 and have a 40" chest so what would be a good size.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful reply. I suppose I'll give them a call before I venture up there. If the ME store has the big boys sizes, I better head there! The Orvis outlet being right there by it is a nice plus.

diddipalo, I generally prefer their classic Made in England offerigs (Bedale, Beaufort, etc.). Having said that, the first three look quite nice. Do you have the option of trying any of these on prior to purchase? I think it will come down to fit.
