I've yet that too but seems like speculation. I believe the style is slim as opposed to regular fit so people think they need to order a size larger. Order according to measurements...

I say that because I wear a medium in it and im 5'6 140lbs with small shoulders.

...and how does this specific "james bond" jacket fit on you? any chance you could post a pic of you wearing it?

a sports coat, blazer, suit jacket shouldn't go below where your leg inseam begins. basically you want it above your crotch a little. that's how this jacket should be worn.

Has any clarification been given as to why the reissue of the Bond jacket looks so much darker than the olive green of the original?

Edit: Emailed Barbour, awaiting reply

That's what you get when you try to help.

I'm 6' 3", 215lbs and not particularly broad shouldered. I wear an XL in the Tokito Heritage Sport Jacket (original run). I can wear a t-shirt with a thin sweater beneath it but wouldn't be able to wear a chunky cardigan without it feeling pretty tight. Sleeves are long so going to have them shortened by 0.75". I also find the interior "placket" (designed to stop the wind and rain) pretty annoying so will get that removed. It's definitely a very nice jacket.

I dont have it anymore but ive had 3 or 4 of them in the past. The medium is a good fit on my aside from the sleeves being too long. Size small is too tight to wear with anything but a tshirt under it

Thanks for the responses.

Anyone know where I can find the Barbour scarf shown in this ad (it's an Orvis ad, but folks at Orvis haven't been helpful). Thanks.

Are you making this statement by comparing actual jackets or what? Curious cz I'm skeptical they would change the color.

Depending on the lighting in the photo those things can look 100 different shades of green

No, just the pictures. Most of the pictures of the actual jacket look so much lighter than the pictures for the reissue, but like Dave pointed out, depending on the lighting...

I didn't realize it, but it looks like it's not available for pre-order anymore on endofclothing, which seemed to be the only place that had it under $600 :/

endclothing was sold out within hours, and that was almost a month ago

kafka had a lot of pre-orders but now they're sold out. i got mine for 300-400 with the 20% + 10% off

kafka also just gave me the measurements for the james bond barbour tokito

The measurements for the medium are:

PTP – 21”
Back length – 27”
Shoulder to cuff – 27”
Pit to cuff – 18 ½ “

The measurements for the large are:

PTP – 22”
Back Length – 29”
Shoulder to cuff – 28”
Pit to cuff – 19 ½ “

I have no idea what this means considering I purchased this in Large and felt it was too big: http://www.endclothing.co.uk/brands/barbour-x-tokihito-yoshida/barbour-x-tokihito-yoshida-sporting-quilt-67535.html

PTP is 22" for the james bond and 19.5 for this quilt jacket...something seems off if everyone is saying the bond jacket runs big

i think ill go large anyways..

I've only ever been hit with customs from Kafka.

All of SS13 to ki to on end looks much slimmer if their measurements are correct. Can't imagine to ki to going any slimmer. Sadly I'm seeing different measurements on the sporting.
