He wore the same kind of suit for his TV speech today.

It looks odd in a French way.

You mean the lapels on the shorter man, right? I think you are correct, I have seen that lapel style referred to as the Parisian lapel. I like it.....

The first suit pictured is almost certainly Camps de Luca, very popular among Arab rulers. The second one might be Cifonelli? Just a guess...
