I've only played one game in my life but it was pretty fun. nice way to just kick it with some friends on a sunny day, add some brews and some blunts and it's like three times as enjoyable.

I can't see the appeal of this when actual golf is available.

That football-like frisbee game is fun, though. Can't remember what it is called?

I don't believe anyone at my country club plays. And I've never played it on my putting green or driving range.

I've played it about a dozen times. It's pretty fun and good exercise, and good way to hang out with friends. Give it a shot. I stopped playing to concentrate on croquet. I like that a lot more as it's a game of strategy whereas golf (disc and ball) is almost completely about shot-making skill.

^This. Some of us slightly less stonery boys play it here in College Station too. Drop the $30 for a couple disks, grab a cooler with a few beers, some buddies, play some frisbee golf, talk to the pretty girls, pet their dogs, and enjoy the day. It's a satisfying way to waste the day.
