So I decided to save this Chester Barrie overcoat from heading for the scrap bin today at the thrift store. It's been worn and loved but has a lot of life still left. With that said, it's not perfect. I'm pretty sure it's of late 50's to early 60's vintage. It's a 3 roll 2 front. Lots of handwork. Gorgeous charcoal with a muted red plaid overtone. Has all the original buttons intact. Fits about a 42-44 R for a overcoat. No tags other than the Chester Barrie tag. With a little tailoring and perhaps a new lining this coat will be amazing.I'm not looking to make any money off this. Just sell for what I paid + gas money and shipping. Was $35, now $18 shipped . Tracking included. Small issues: - Lining worn near the collar (see photo) - Material coming loose under the collar. Small 1 1/2" spot - 1 1/2" repair at the shoulder seam near the collar. Other than that, this jacket is in great shape for it's age. Measurements: Chest: 24" Shoulders: 18 1/2" Sleeves: 25 1/2" with 1" to let out Length: 44"
