How do you hold both cards and cash in a money clip? Do you fold the cash around the cards? Would the cards slip out?

Does using different sized banknotes (common outside the US) present a problem for a money clip?

I wouldn't try to combine the two in one clip. I've seen people do it before and they essentially end up with a bulky money clip in their front pocket as opposed to a bulky wallet in their back pocket.

I only have four cards and would like to carry around 10 bills. I don't think that's too bulky. Currently this fits in a very thin cigarette case but unfortunately it's too small for foreign banknotes.

Bruno Magli used to make some interesting card holders.

I absolutely HATE thick wallets. There's no good reason why a wallet should be as thick as a burrito.

I recently bought a dark brown Ferragamo leather card holder to hold my license, ATM card, and credit card. That's all the cards I carry and use 99% of the time. I fold up bills and just stick them in the middle. Haven't had a problem with money slipping out or anything like that.

You can get a double sided money clip (Tiffanys, Dunhill, etc..)

If you try to remember that a wallet is NOT a filing cabinet NOR is it dustbin and just keep a couple of credit card and some cash in it then it will fit in back, front or inner pocket without causing any problem whatever.

Try Launer for decent wallets.
