Sorry, been a bit absent, I should clarify: Since Pitti is an odd mix of really wonderful looks and absolutely absurd things, I thought it'd be nice to see what the forumites come up with in the spirit of Pitti Uomo. Dressing at the show is very much about the peacocking. Whether the peacocking means very elegant or very bonkers is of course up to you. Bonus points if you manage to strut around acting very important in the photo. In any case, I think MBreinin's comment captures the spirit perfectly. Have at it gentleman, nothing ventured, nothing gained! (disclaimer: no tangible gains will actually be offered in this contest)

Done deal, oh great Spoo-meister. You may return to your pitcher of daiquiris, confident that your work for today is done.

Pleb question: Do they have coat check there or do you carry or wear your coat around indoors too?

Who are those Japanese dudes? They seem important.

This contest looks SO much fun. Wish I could play in it. That's two fun contests (stripes being the other) that I've missed by being abroad without access to my usual wardrobe. I look forward to much amusement on seeing the results. Awesome choice, yfyf.

Oh my, this is some next-level business right here. I'll give it a try. Hopefully I'll not "fail spectacularly".

On a side note, are there any good pictures of the inside, of the show itself, so I can continue to live vicariously? Also, after going through all of Tommy Ton's photographs I am disappointed it Mr. Schuman's choices. Maybe he has better to come...

Phat Guido must be wondering, "Now why didn't I think of this?"

(For the record, I fully expect him to take us all to school in this week's challenge.)
