His writing is very funny... if a little silly at times in terms of contradictions. One thing I really despise about him is his climate change stance; which isn't surprising since in Clarksons mind: my opinion = fact.

From what I gather, you seem to fail to realize how big this show is -- they have over 350 million viewers from all over the world, and while I'm sure you find this extremely interesting, most of those hundreds of millions would not find it even remotely entertaining.
It comes down to numbers -- what do the audience want, and how can we make it appeal to all (most) of them?
Top Gear in it's current form is spot on, and there's no point in changing that. Personally I always look forward to a new episode, and I wouldn't want them to change. Sure, a few seasons back they did cock around slightly too much, and the "Fifteen years later" screens they had whenever timing anything got somewhat annoying, but I wouldn't want just car reviews or boring pieces on how to drive around a track. I'm in it for the entertainment.

The reviews aren't really worth anything either, they're too short to be informative and basically all Clarkson does is drive around a track with no traction control, oversteering and making lots of smoke.

I just watched the newest ep. Definitely one of my all time favourites. They talk about how the cheapest car in Britain, a Nissan for 6995 (pounds) and then talk about used cars going for the same money. It was very interesting as well as hilarious (Manlove was back)

The McLaren was awesome. Talk about a tight lap. It was like watching a train on rails. Unbelievable that those used cars were all under 7k, but then who would want to drive a V12 these days?

Goddam that car was incredible. That suspension? That one was #4 of my favorite laps ever. The stability of that car was beyond belief.

#1 was that incredible lap the Aston Martin Le Mans car did, #2 was Lewis Hamilton's unbelievable wet lap with the reasonably priced car (3 tenths slower than the Stig's dry lap? How?), #3 was Schumacher's FXX lap. The Veyron lap gets honorable mention.

I'm not convinced that the suspension wasn't based on extra terrestrial technology. Thanks for the Aston clip. I had forgotten about that one. And they Veyron holds a special place for me because of how long they teased about not having permission to take it around the track.

First thought was that it looks like a big Lotus Elise. Turns out its based on one. 1200 HP. Must have a top speed of 225mph. Thats a sick car. 900k price tag.

Buggatti was supposed to race at Goodwood with that same Venom GT int he video, but they dropped out because they refuse to lose. Video of this happening:

Just watched latest episode.

The Nissan GT-R is a beast! I want to see it up against a 911 Turbo S.

Seriously a big hand for Nissan. Though I know it has a few faults, its a big upgrade from last generation GT-R and is looking to be the king for the price.
